For Your Information - As Seen on TV Products

There are many many websites, TV infomercials, and even books (and yes, Blogs) about all of those things you see on TV. You are bombarded daily with things that look too good to be true ... and things you really MUST HAVE. In this writer's opinion....
If I don't already have it, I probably don't need it.

But, then I have to be realistic because I am a shop-a-holic. I love things. Just little things, usually nothing over $19.99 (hey, that may be why they set every price to "JUST $19.99!!!") and things that may help around the house. I personally have bought hundreds of items I have seen on TV, usually during a late night work session, or nursing a baby, or just not being able to sleep. I see it and I do think "Yes, I need that".

Case in point... "The Gopher". It's just a little extension rod thing that has a clamp on the end and you can control it from the handle. I bought it, in fact I bought two. And I am proud to admit I LOVE IT! It really is something I can not do without. My husband is over 6ft tall, and I am 5ft tall. He puts things up really high in the cabinets, and I can't reach them. Now I can. It's also great for reaching behind the couch when the dog's ball is waaaaay back there, or when a kid has dropped yet another book or toy behind a bookcase. This thing really works!

Another thing I just love is "The Bean" - it's an inflatable exercise bench that supports your back and head when you are exercising. I'd say it's even better (and cheaper) than the AB-Lounge that is all over TV right now.

Two things I think are a waste of money (for my purposes) are the Pasta Express and the Eggstractor. We do still sell them because people do find a worth for it... just not me. The Pasta Express is just a tank that holds warm water and doesn't make pasta any faster or better than a pot (in my opinion, though I did find it great for camping). The Eggstractor is only useful (again in my opinion) if you are doing a LOT of eggs like for Deviled Eggs.

So the moral of my short but true story here is... honestly a lot of the things you see sold on TV infomercials ARE very very useful. And they are fairly inexpensive. If you see something you think you need, try it out because almost every one of the products comes with a 30 day money back guarantee.
